Description

Raffles Hotel Le Royal is a palatial tropical residence, a grand historic hotel from the 1920's distinguished by its blend of Khmer, Art Deco and French colonial architecture. Reopened and expanded with a new wing in 1997, everything from the vaulted ceilings in the lobby to the classic original central stairscase breathes history and charm. The hotel's undoubted prestige attracted an international clientele in its heyday. Today, its very characteristic luxury, services and professional staff make it one of Cambodia's finest and most renowned hotels.
Raffles Hotel Le Royal offers 170 guestrooms, suites and executive apartments, each tastefully appointed with Cambodian-style furnishings and objets d'art. The rooms are spread over three separate but interconnecting low-rise wings, set around the garden courtyard and swimming pools. True to its history and prestige, Le Royal has a number of elegant cafés and restaurants spread over a variety of stunning terraced, indoor and outdoor settings. To name just a few, The Apsara Terrace offers Cambodian cultural performances whilst dining out in the garden, The Conservatory offers live classical music and the delightful Café Monivong provides the classic wicker furniture for a hearty al fresco breakfast. In addition, the Elephant Bar is reputed as the place to go in Phnom Penh, a famous and historic bar with a charming atmosphere and original cocktails. The SPA, Amrita, includes a fully equipped gym as well as sauna, Jacuzzi and massage rooms.
