The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Hanoi on September 25 coordinated with Hanoi’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to launch a nationwide propaganda poster contest to commemorate the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
Under the theme “Thang Long-Ha Noi: Thousand-year convergence,” the National Tourism Year 2010 will be launched in Ha Noi and featured by activities to celebrate the millennium of the capital. The National Tourism Year 2010 will be the largest tourism event in Viet Nam, which lasts for the whole year and is supported by numerous localities throughout the country.
A year-long program to promote tourism in Hanoi will start next month, marking the 999th anniversary of the capital city, the Vietnam National Tourism Administration announced Friday.
