Around 150 international travel firms and 20 provincial departments of tourism will take part in Vietnam’s largest annual travel event, the International Travel Expo 2010, to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from September 30 to October 2.

A photo exhibition called The Cooperative Achievements in Economy between the Mekong Delta and HCMC opened on Tuesday at Lam Son Park, opposite the HCMC Opera House, 7 Lam Son Square in HCMC’s District 1.

More than 400 species of fruit from orchards in 18 provinces and cites have been brought to the festival’s fruit competition, which opened on June 1 at HCM City’s Suoi Tien Cultural Park.
