The Vietnam Tourism Association (VTA) is calling for members and
sponsors to jointly carry out a project to open a representative office for the
local tourism industry in Japan.
Hon Viet (Soul of Vietnam) variety show which is held twice a
month at the HCMC Opera House is gaining in popularity.
As part of the Da Nang - Summer Rendezvous 2013 programme, many
exciting activities will be held on Bach Dang Street and on local beaches along
Hoang Sa Street from 22 June to 3 July.
Approximately 700 Vietnamese tourists who went to Thailand for
attending a seminar and travel were abandoned in Thailand because the Vietnamese
tour operator – HCM City-based Travel Life Company – did not pay its Thai
partner.

International cruise ship Costa Atlantica carrying 2,200

To response to the 10th anniversary of Convention on protection
of intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO (2003-2013) and aim to establish an
ASEAN Community by 2015, from 22nd to 26th June 2013, Quang Nam Provincial
People's Committee coordination with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
Anh Duong Co. has proposed to increase the visa-free stay from 15
days to one month for Russian tourists to attract more tourists from this
country, especially those wanting to have long vacations.
The mountains and forests of the Central Highlands will come into
sharp focus at the year-long National Tourism Year 2014 event, organisers said
last Friday.
