commune) and community-based tourism tourist route of Sa Pa - Sa Pả - Hầu Thào -

Responding to the tourism stimulus program 2013 of Viet Nam

Responding to National Tourism Year of Red River Delta – Hai
Phong 2013, Viet Nam International Travel Mart 2013 (VITM 2013) with the theme
“Exploring the Red River Delta - The source of Vietnamese culture” officially
closed on 21st April after 4 days with many exciting, plentiful activities and
attracted a large number of visitors.
With its airport closing and tourism sector performing worse than
expected, the former royal city of Hue has attempted to revive its fortunes by
launching an extensive discount programme for tourists visiting its local
historical attractions.
Despite being very busy helping the participating teams to
prepare for the DIFC 2013, Mr Joe Ghazzal, the Director of Global2000
International Company from Malaysia, the consultants for the event, managed to
find time for a short interview with a Da Nang Newspaper reporter to share
information about the festival.
Malaysia is a key market Vietnam’s tourism industry should focus
on in order to broaden its customer base.
