A new book on the Cham culture has just been published in five
languages by the The Gioi (World) Publishers.
Phu Tho Province (North) is home to Kinh, Dao, Tay, Muong, Mong,
San Chay… ethnic groups. Each group owns specific characteristics, contributing
to cultural diversity of Phu Tho, of which, “cham duong” is a unique festival of
Muong ethnic people.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on January 4
officially launched a campaign to select a new Tourism Ambassador for the
2013-2014 tenure. Nominations can be submitted until the end of February.
Vietnam’s world heritage Phong Nha Cave in the central province

and eateries on either side of Vo Thi Sau Street when darkness pervades Phu Quoc

Thot not (coconut palm) trees are an integral part of the Khmer
community in Van Giao Commune, Tinh Bien District, An Giang Province. The area
also attracts many tourists to witness locals making coconut palm sugar and have
the opportunity to enjoy thot not fruit.
A Culture, Tourism and Trade Exchange Week is taking place in Da
Lat, Lam Dong province in the Central Highlands from December 30 to January 5.
The Hue Relics Preservation Centre welcomed UK citizen Sandra
Noel, its two millionth visitor, on December 30.
A charter flight operated by Orient Air on Wednesday brought over
370 tourists from Moscow to Khanh Hoa Province, and there will be a charter
flight on this route every ten days towards next year-end.
