Since the HCMC-Nanning-Chengdu service was launched a half year
ago, China’s Sichuan Airlines is considering daily flights to HCMC instead of
two weekly flights as now.
VietJet Air announced it would begin domestic flights from
December 25, four years after it gained approval to become a privately owned
airline in Viet Nam.

loss. The loss has been attributed to the low ceiling airfares set by the
Ministry of Finance.
Vietnam Airlines will be offering a discount to customers making
e-payments for tickets on routes to the ASEAN countries, Northeast Asian
countries and to countries in Europe.
Dong Van Rock Plateau is the highland in the most extreme north
of Vietnam with majority of the terrain at 1,400-1.600m above sea level and with
over 80% of the surface covered by just rocks and with high concentration of
rocky peaks of over 2,000m above sea level.

The private airline Air Mekong will offer a new domestic route
from Vinh in the northern province of Nghe An to Pleiku, in the central highland
province of Gia Lai from December 1.
As per schedule, flights will depart Pleiku Airport at 5pm and Vinh Airport at 6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
