Vietnam is still not a familiar destination for Japanese leisure
travelers, even though Vietnam ranks 12th out of 30 countries welcoming Japanese
visitors in 2010, said a Japanese tourism entrepreneur.
Oc Om Boc, the annual Water Festival of the Khmer people, will
this year coincide with the Vietnam Rice Festival in Soc Trang Province, home to
a large community of the ethnic minority group.

The Russian cities of Moscow and St Petersburg will host Viet Nam
Culture Days for one week beginning tomorrow, with many Vietnamese artists

UNESCO Department for International Cultural Relations, under the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, on Thursday discussed the dossier of Xuan Dai Bay before
summiting it to UNESCO for its recognition as a Human Heritage.
The coastline has an individual character with its surroundings
still wild and natural and the restaurants along the water's edge give it a
