The Saint Giong festival, which was recognized by
UNESCO as world intangible cultural heritage, started in Soc Son and Dong Anh
districts in the outskirts of Hanoi on February 8 or the 6th day of the first
month of the Lunar New Year.

increasingly concerned about the overcrowding at international terminals in both
Ha Noi and HCM City.
More local and foreign tourists have taken inbound
and outbound tours during the Tet (Lunar New Year) 2011 holiday compared to
previous years.
The Saigon Travel Service Company (Saigontourist)
on Jan. 25 welcomed 2,500 foreign tourists and crew sailing aboard the cruise
liner Costa Classica, which docked in Ha Long City, in the northern province of
Quang Ninh.

launch direct flights to London in the second half of this year as part of an
action plan signed by the two countries in Ha Noi on Wednesday.
