The tourism program “Returning to Roots” launched
by three northern provinces of Lao Cai, Yen Bai and Phu Tho, has attracted more
than 2 million visitors in 2010.

Vietnam Airlines will open 3 flights a week, on
Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, as of November 15th, from Ho Chi Minh City to

Deputy Prime Minister, Hoang Trung Hai, has just
instructed the Southern Airports Corporation to actively collaborate with the
Kien Giang People’s Committee to thoroughly settle problems related to ground
clearing in the project to build Phu Quoc Airport.
Air Mekong will open more new routes from Hanoi
and HCM city to Da Nang city in November 2010.
The tallied number of foreign tourists to Vietnam
in the first ten months of 2010 reached 4.17 million, up 39 percent over the
same period of 2009, announced by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
