The world’s famous travel guide book publisher “Lonely Planet”
has just announced the top 10 world’s destinations with reasonable cost for
2016. Both Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City have ranked 2nd.
To promote Viet Nam tourism in Western European market, from 9 –
13 November 2015, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in
collaboration with Viet Nam Tourism Association,
Jetstar Pacific, Viet Nam’s low-cost airline, has opened three
new domestic routes.
As many as 80 Vietnamese and 100 Japanese companies took part in
an investment and tourism promotion seminar held by the Bank for Investment and
Development of Viet Nam in Japan last Saturday.
Air New Zealand on November 13 announced it would fly three times
a week to Ho Chi Minh City from next June.

The 2016 Hung Kings Temple Festival is set to unfold at the Hung

Co To island in the northern province of Quang Ninh greeted about
170,000 tourist arrivals from the start of the year, a year-on-year rise of 70%,
grossing a turnover of more than VND250 billion.
This January, a direct international flight from Guangzhou, China
to Phu Quoc Island in the southern Kien Giang Province will be created to meet
the increasing demand of Chinese tourists who want to visit the island.
With numerous heritage sites, Vietnam’s central region holds huge
potential for tourism development.
The 1st UNWTO Global Conference on Wine Tourism, to be held in
the Kakheti wine region from 7-9 September 2016, was officially launched by
UNWTO and the Georgian National Tourism Administration on the occasion of the
World Travel Market in London.
