The central city of Da Nang

Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) inked a cooperation
deal for 2009-2010 in Hanoi on July 15, under which the former will provide
information to the latter for dissemination to the public.
The Pacific-Asia Travel
Association (PATA) estimates a 4 percent decline in tourist arrivals in Asia
amid the still stagnant global economy this year. PATA President Greg Duffell
attributed the decline to rising unemployment in many countries where the
economic downturn is not expected to let up any time soon.
The country’s travel hub of
HCMC this year will spend around VND9 billion, or US$600,000, on tourism
promotion activities, twice compared to the last year’s budget, an official
said.

early 18th century when the first Vietnamese entered the land of Phan Thiet city
in Binh Thuan province and is the oldest pagoda in this city by the sea.
Hai Hoa beach, also known as
Ngoc Son beach, stretches from Dong Hai through Giang Son communes in Tinh Gia
District of the northern province of Thanh Hoa.
