Airlines announced pretax profits of 24 billion VND (1.35 million USD) in the
first quarter of this year.
The number of foreign tourists
visiting Vietnam increased slightly in April, but the number is greatly reduced
for the first four months in comparison to the same period of last year.
Israeli EL Airlines is to open
its first ticket agency in Vietnam on May 4, the airlines confirmed in its press
release yesterday.
To meet the increasing demand
of tourists traveling to Nha Trang and other central provinces, Sai Gon Railways
has increased train service on this route.
Nearly 200,000 tourists have
visited Ninh Binh Province in the first four months of this year, an increase of
24% in comparison to the same period last year.
The 2009 Sea Festival
organising board on April 28 in coordination with the Gol Services Trading

The tourism sector has shown
signs of recovery with a sharp increase in the number of people booking tourist
services, especially local tours, on the anniversary of the liberation of

A maritime festival will be
held on Do Son beach in the northern port city of Hai Phong on May 1 and Sam Son
