Tourists to the mountainous
town of Sapa in the border province of Lao Cai saw showers combined with hail
for 10 minutes on the morning of April 4. The hailstones had a diameter ranging
between 0.5-1cm.
Thirty-four years ago on April
3, the Central Highland resort city of Da Lat in Lam Dong province was
liberated. Once an impoverished town, Da Lat has now become a first-tier city
with bright prospects for development.
People’s Committee of central
Quang Binh province has approved the establishment of a joint venture between
Linh Thanh Trade and Service Joint-Stock Company and the Management Board of
Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
Long Thanh international
airport to be built in the southern province of Dong Nai will be on a par with

A consultation contract worth

Most sand dunes in central

The cruise ship arrived in

Airlines have announced that

Jetstar Pacific will launch
daily service between Hanoi and the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho in the summer,
about one week after Vietnam Airlines announced it would operate two daily
flights on this route.
The central coastal province
of Khanh Hoa is gearing up for the wide-ranging Nha Trang Maritime Festival,
entitled Civilization and Friendship, which is scheduled for June 6-12 and
features 70 different cultural, sporting, economic and scientific events.
The court case between Vietnam
