On May 20, 2014, an American tourist, Mr. Gregory K Faulk sent a
letter to Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan – General Director of Viet Nam National
Administration of Tourism, praising the hospitality of Viet Nam Tourism. Mr.
Gregory K Faulk, who spent 2 weeks in Viet Nam with his friend, was very
impressed with the wonderful job VNAT has done making visitors to Viet Nam feel
welcome.
In respond to bad effects caused by recent tensions, the Ministry
of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam National Administration of Tourism
have sent urgent dispatchs to provincial departments of Culture, Sports, and
Tourism, the Vietnam Tourism Association, travel agencies, and hotels to ensure

Environment Day (June 5) and World Oceans Day (June 8)
