Cruise liners Rotterdam of the
Netherlands and Queen Victoria of the UK docked at Nha Trang on March 13,
bringing more than 4,400 visitors and crewmen, mostly from the UK, the US,
Canada, the Netherlands and Spain, to the tourist city.
This is the first time the two cruise ships have anchored off the Nha Trang Bay
at the same time.
In Nha Trang city, visitors made tours of Ponagar Towers, Long Son pagoda, the
four-spring tourist site, Dam Tron market and XQ Embroidery workshop.
They also visited ancient houses, countryside markets, village communal houses
and craft village in outlying districts of Nha Trang City.
The foreign visitors had the chance to enjoy Vietnam’s traditional art
performances and dishes.
Since the beginning of this year, the central coastal city of Nha Trang has
welcomed 8 cruise liners, with more than 10,000 foreign visitors aboard, an
increase of 1.5 times against the same period last year.
