More Russian performers for Hue Festival

Two Russian theatre groups will be appearing at the 2012 Hue Festival, which gets underway on April 7.
This was announced by the Russian Consul General in Da Nang City , Yuri B. Materiy, at a meeting with Ngo Hoa, Deputy Chairman of the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial People’s Committee.
Materiy added that he has plans to urge Russian travel agencies to entice more Russian visitors to travel to Hue City , especially during the 2012 Hue Festival.
The festival is part of a number of events planned for the 2012 National Tourism Year.
So far, 40 various theatre groups from 30 countries and territories have registered to take part in this year’s festival.
