Vietnamese Days in Japan 2013
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic
relationship (1973-2013) and Viet Nam – Japan Friendship Year 2013, from 12th to
22nd September 2013, at 5 cities of Japan including Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya
and Fukuoka, Vietnamese Days in Japan 2013 will be take place with the largest
scale ever. The event is co-organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry
of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnamese Embassy in Japan.
The Vietnamese Days in Japan 2013 will include festivals, cuisine activities,
art performances, culture gala and investment promotion workshops. Of which, the
outstanding activity is Vietnamese Festival in Tokyo and Nagoya cities from 14th
to 15th September 2013. This is the annual activity held since 2008, attracting
a lot of Japanese people with an average of more than 100,000 visitor arrivals
attending each year, in 2012, the number was 180,000 arrivals. This year’s
Vietnamese Festival will have 90 stalls including cuisine, handicraft product
stalls and stalls to introduce tourism and commercial potentials of Viet Nam. In
addition, the festival also has many art and ao dai performances with the
participation of artists from Viet Nam and Japan.
Besides, “Hello Viet Nam - Aichi 2013” festival will be held in Aichi Province
from 21st to 22nd September 2013, promising to attract hundreds of thousands of
participants, contributing to fostering the relationship between Viet Nam and
Aichi Province, where Vietnamese students form the largest community among those
from Asian countries.
The Vietnamese Days in Japan 2013 is an evidence for the comprehensive and
strong development of the strategic partnership between the two countries. The
relationship has been firmly consolidated by the trust and affection of people
and governments of Viet Nam and Japan for each other..
