Quang Ninh celebrates World Tourism Day

A series of activities for World Tourism Day with the theme “Tourism and Water: Protecting Our Common Future” will be organized in Quang Ninh from now to September 27.
The provincial People’s Committee has asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in association with relevant agencies, to organize meetings responding the World Tourism Day on September 27. The meetings must ensure promotion efficiency and further promote the significance of the World Tourism Day.
Aiming to improve the awareness and responsibility of businesses and tourists in protecting water resources and environment to contribute to building a beautiful image for Quang Ninh tourism, the department will coordinate with the managing board of Ha Long Bay and the province’s tourism association to promote and popularize the theme of World Tourism Day.
Localities and businesses will print and hang banners and posters on 18A Highway, caves in Ha Long Bay and major tourist destinations in the province./.
