Preparing for Culture and Tourism Week 2013 in Da Lat

Heading forwards the Culture and Tourism Week 2013 in Da Lat from 27th – 31st Dec. , traditional flower villages in Da Lat are promptly preparing for the event.
Thai Phien flower village has been planting over 30 ha of all kinds of flowers as chrysanthemums, lily, carnation, auspicious… for display in the 5th Da Lat Flower Festival.
Besides, Thai Phien flower village will welcome to visit and learn about traditional Floriculture of locals.
In Van Thanh flower village, people are also preparing for the construction of “Rose Street” with 120 meters in length decorated with various kinds of flowers including moonlight rose, red rose, lotus rose…
In addition, farmers also have been preparing for a variety of unique flower products (dried flowers, flower paintings ...) for selling to tourists during the festival
The Culture and Tourism Week 2013 will include the ASEAN Heritage Festival, the launch of the Central Highlands’ Tourism Year 2014, the 120th anniversary of the founding of Da Lat, and the Da Lat Flower Festival..
