Quang Ninh Province attracts over 6.5 million tourist arrivals in 10 months of 2013

According to Quang Ninh’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in 10 months of 2013, the province attracted over 6.5 million tourist arrivals, reaching 87.4% of the plan in 2013, increasing by 10% over the same period last year. Of which, international tourist arrivals were about 2 million, reaching 77.5% of the plan and up by 2%; total over-night tourist arrivals reached over 3 million, increasing by 18% over the same period last year.
In particular, tourist arrivals to Quang Ninh in October 2013 estimated 474,000, increasing by 19.7% over last month. Tourism receipts amounted VND 420 billion.
Totally, total tourism receipts in 10 months reached VND 4,204 billion, reaching 80.4% of the plan in 2013and increasing by 15% over the same period of 2012..
