Sakura Festival to be opened at Ha Long Park

The 2nd Sakura Festival will be held from April 11th-13th, 2014 at Ha Long Park (Bach Dang Ward, Ha Long city), according to the QNPPC.
The opening ceremony of the festival is scheduled at 8 p.m on April 11th with a dragon dancing performance and a Vietnam- Japan cultural art exchange program.
Around 200 sakura branches and 2 sakura blossom trees dispalyed at the festival. Furthermore, the festival draws the participation of 40 goods booths introducing both Japanese and Vietnamese products of tourism, gastronomy, technology and souvenirs, e.t.c.
During the festival, there will be also a workshop on cooperation, trade and tourism promotion between Ha Long city and Japanese localtities.
