Promoting cooperation on Project Childhood Prevention Pillar

On February 17th 2014, the Inspectorate - Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism (MCST) had a meeting with Ms. Aarti Kapoor, Regional Director of Project Childhood Prevention Pillar of World Vision.
At the meeting, Deputy Chief Inspector Nguyen Thi Thuy Minh announced the progress of the cooperation agreement between the Inspectorate - MCST and World Vision Viet Nam on the implementation of “Project Childhood Prevention Pillar”.
Accordingly, the project has built a duo-language website on Childhood Prevention at duantuoitho.tourism.vn and was producing brochures for tourists. On March 11th 2014, the Inspectorate - MCST will organize a training course on childhood prevention pillar in Cat Ba Town (Hai Phong City) for Inspectorate of provincial Department of Cultures, Sports and Tourism and officials of culture and information in districts and towns.
Ms. Aarti Kapoor also informed the activities on childhood prevention pillar in the region and introduced the activities in the coming time for the protection of children in the Meeting of ASEAN Tourism Ministers in Myanmar. At the same time, Ms. Aarti Kapoor appreciated the efforts of the Inspectorate - MCST in the implementation of the project which contributes in changing the awareness of community about children protection in Viet Nam.
