Goddess of Mercy Festival welcomes over 200,000 visitors

      More than 200,000 people attended the Goddess of Mercy Festival in the central city of Da Nang from March 13-15.
The festival had many activities: a display of the world’s largest jade Buddha statue, the Goddess of Mercy parade, an exhibition of national record paintings, releasing balloons to wish for peace, unicorn-lion-dragon dances, flower offering ceremony, and drum performances.
The most special thing at the festival was the display of the largest Goddess of Mercy jade statue in the world.
