Vietnam Airlines celebrates 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu historical victory (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2014), the Vietnam national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines offers a promotional program for veterans.
Accordingly, between April 1 to December 31, all veterans purchased for domestic routes operating by Vietnam Airlines will be eligible to receive a 15% discount; and veterans (if born before 1938) that directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign will only purchase just VND60,000 for one-way ticket on the Hanoi-Dien Bien Phu route.
These special prices (not including taxes, surcharges and certain conditions) will be applicable for flights departing from April 5 to December 31, 2014.
Passengers are advised to present their veteran cards, veteran certifications of the Dien Bien Phu campaign and identification cards.
