“Southern Land Cuisine” Festival 2014

HCM City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with Phu Tho Tourism Services Limited company to hold the 4th “Southern Land Cuisine” Festival 2014 at Dam Sen Culture Park.
The festival is an annual traditional event of HCM City to introduce and honour the special values of southern cuisine culture.
The festival 2014 is expected to take place from 29th May to 1st June 2014 and attract the participation of 60 units from 14 provinces with over 100 booths divided by different subjects such as Sea cuisine, Central cuisine, Highlands cuisine, Southern cuisine, Sai Gon cuisine…
The event will also lure tourists by many excellent activities like cooking foods, making beverages, performing pruning arts, sculptures with vegetables, playing folk games, weaving brocade, reappearing the Space of Gong Culture in Central Highlands, performing “Don ca tai tu” …
Besides, more than 100 Southern delicious dishes will be introduced and served to tourists as grilled rolls, pancako, duck porridge, snail grilled with pepper and many kinds of fresh fruits…
“Southern Land Cuisine” festival 2014 promises to be impressive for visitors who come from HCM City and nearby provinces, and also a chance to promote fine cuisine culture to international visitors.
