VNAT promotes Viet Nam tourism in St. Petersburg

In the framework of "Vietnam Culture Days in Russia", following the roadshow in Moscow, VNAT organized the roadshow promoting Viet Nam tourism in St. Petersburg on 27 Jun 2014. The event had the participation of Ms Gvichia Na Na, Director of St. Petersburg Tourism Promotion Department and representatives of over 50 tour operators and media agencies.
Making speech in the roadshow, General Director of VNAT Nguyen Van Tuan emphasized that Viet Nam is located in the Indochinese peninsula by the East Sea with over 3,260 km coastline; of which the Central and Southern regions boast the most beautiful islands and coastline in Viet Nam with many beautiful beaches, white sand, pure water, warm climate all year, suitable for leisure tourism. Da Nang, Nha Trang Bay, Mui Ne – Binh Thuan, Phu Quoc… have become favorite destinations for Russian tourists.
In addition, Vietnamese culture is rich and diverse with many world cultural heritage; Vietnamese people are friendly and hospitable; cuisine is special and diverse along with developed system of hotels, restaurants, hi-end resorts along the coast... Viet Nam would become a promising paradise for leisure for Russian tourists.
At the event, the participants learnt (via Q&A) about the country, people, culture and tourism development of Viet Nam. General Director Nguyen Van Tuan also answered the questions from the participants.
The series of tourism promotion activities carried out in Russian Federation aimed to maintain the speed of tourists growth, expand source markets and satisfy the demand of Russian tourists.
