Photo contest to popularize Viet Nam’s cultural heritage

The Viet Nam Heritage magazine under the Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Association in coordination with Cannon Viet Nam Co., Ltd, launched on July 1 the third “Viet Nam Heritage Photo Awards 2014” contest.
The contest, one of many activities to mark the Viet Nam Cultural Heritage (November 23), aims to enhance worldwide discovery and sharing of Vietnam’s rich and diverse cultural and natural heritage.
The organizing board will work with the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as provincial Cultural Heritage associations, museums, schools and enterprises to organize exhibitions of selected photographs at several locations.
The year’s contest focuses on nature (landscapes, marine resources, geography, wild animals, plants and the environment in general), tangible culture (architecture, sculpture, arts, traditional handicrafts and villages) and intangible culture (music, dance, festivals, folk games, religious and other customs).
Entries should be sent to the organizing board by September 20, 2014 by email vietnamdisan@gmail.com or by mail to: Viet Nam Heritage, 15A/28 Le Thanh Ton street, Ben Nghe precinct, district 1, Ho Chi Minh city.
