Jetstar Pacific to fly to Singapore, Bangkok

Low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific plans to open two international flight routes to Singapore and Bangkok (Thailand) by the end of this year.
Jetstar Pacific General Director Le Hong Ha also said the carrier completed negotiations with shareholders in June 2014 to raise its chartered capital to nearly USD121.5 million (equivalent to VND2.55 trillion).
Currently, the airline has two major shareholders – Vietnam Airlines and Quantas Airways, and and one small shareholder – Saigontourist.
The capital raised will include nearly USD25 million from Vietnam Airlines and more than USD10 million from Quantas. It will be used to expand flight routes and develop the carrier’s crew.
Jetstar Pacific will receive one more Airbus A321 from Vietnam Airlines by the end of this year and is negotiating to add two aircrafts in the near future./.
