MoCST announces appointment of Director of Viet Nam Cultural Center in France

On August 28, 2014, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Viet Nam organized a ceremony in Ha Noi to announce the appointment decision of Director of Viet Nam Cultural Center in France.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vuong who was Director of Tourism Information Technology Center (under Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism) has been appointed as Director of Viet Nam Cultural Center in France from September 1, 2014.
Viet Nam Cultural Center in France, an agency of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was established in 2008 under the approval of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Government of the French Republic. The center is responsible for strengthening the development of relationship between Viet Nam and France in fields of culture, arts, education, sports, tourism, communication, science, technology, and introduction of traditional values ​​and achievements of Viet Nam to French public.
One of the focuses of the Viet Nam Cultural Center in France in the coming time is to boost promotion of Viet Nam tourism in France and Europe and lure more European visitors to Viet Nam, said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vuong.
