According to a Vietjet representative, the low-cost airline plans to add routes
linking other destinations in Taiwan, such as Kaohsiung and Taichung with Ho Chi
Minh City and Hanoi in the near future, at the best possible fares.
The new route will initially operate five round trips per week from Monday to
Sunday (excluding Thursdays and Saturdays), which will offer a weekly capacity
of 1,800 seats. The flight duration per section is three hours and 25 minutes.
The flight will depart Ho Chi Minh City at 2.30pm (Vietnam time) and arrive in
Taipei at 6.55pm (Taiwan time). Coming in the opposite direction, the flight
will depart Taipei at 8pm (Taiwan time) and land in Ho Chi Minh City at 10.25pm
(Vietnam time).

relationships. This new route will also boost bilateral ties between Vietnam and
Taiwan in terms of tourism, business and cultural exchange. We appreciate the
great support from customers and enterprises in Taiwan and we are looking
forward to receiving their continued support in the future,” Mr. Lin added.
