doors on October 30, 2015. To celebrate the opening the company has launched a
selection of special opening offers for travel agents, valid from October 30,
2015 to March 31, 2016.
Under the terms of the promotional opening offers at the property agents can
access a whole range of reduced rates with a 40 sqm Deluxe Garden View room
leading in at VND 2,600,000 per night and a Deluxe Ocean View VND 3,200,000,
including breakfast VAT and service charge, rising to VND 3,260,000 and VND
3,860,000 respectively during the holiday period of 09-13 February 2016. Each of
the above room categories is capable of holding a maximum of three adults and
one child aged under 12 or two adults and two children aged under 12.
The five-star Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort, with its 384 guestrooms and suites,
is located on Dao Reu, and will boast spectacular views of the famous limestone
outcrops in Ha Long Bay which stretch across the Gulf of Tonkin.
The property will feature six room categories ranging from 40 sqm Deluxe Garden
Rooms to the two 350 sqm Presidential Suites, and all rooms have private
balconies. Its facilities include six bars and restaurants, high speed
complimentary WiFi and an extensive range of conference and meeting rooms.
Duong Thi Mai Hoa, Chief Executive Officer of Vinpearl’s parent company Vingroup,
says: “We are delighted to be able to unveil details of our next exciting resort
opening, the Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort. Not only is the property our first in
the major tourism centre area and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay it’s
a perfect complement to our existing portfolio of five hotels based in Da Nang
and our two integrated resort centres on Phu Quoc island and Hon Tre Island,
near Nha Trang.
“With its breath-taking location amid the famous limestone karst pillars that
have made Ha Long Bay such an instantly recognisable international tourist
attraction, Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort enjoys an unsurpassed setting in an
unparalleled environment which simply cries out to be explored. The resort’s
setting just minutes by speedboat from the mainland also offers the best of both
worlds, mixing convenience and ease of access with the exclusivity only a
private island can provide. Moreover, it’s a great addition for travel agents
and their clients looking to book twin or multi-centre holidays in what is
arguably the hottest destination in Asia right now – Viet Nam.”
Families will appreciate the Kids Club, babysitting service, the programme of
local sightseeing tours and excursions, and room options such as the 80 sqm
Family Suites, with baby cots provided in room upon request. Active options
include the two tennis courts; a choice of indoor and outdoor swimming pools,
the latter measuring 1,025 sqm; and a wide range of watersports offered
beachside and at the pool – all backed by the signature Vincharm Spa and a
choice of three stunning beaches.
Other services available to guests include a free welcome drink and
complimentary transport 24/7 between the mainland and the island by speedboat.
As Duong Thi Mai Hoa pointed out, Vinpearl’s latest announcement is the latest
in a string of recent developments set to boost tourism in Viet Nam. Starting
from July 01, 2015, for example, citizens of the UK, France, Germany, Italy and
Spain no longer need to acquire a Visa for stays of 15 days or less. Plus,
Vietnam Airlines has launched a new non-stop service to Viet Nam from London
Heathrow using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners – the first airline to launch such a
service between Europe and South East Asia.
