Korean Airline flies from Seoul to Da Nang
The Jeju Air has coordinated with HG Aviation Service Ltd., Co to
launch a direct flight connecting Da Nang to Incheon (Seoul) with the first
flight carrying 176 passengers landing in the Da Nang international airport.
The route will use 189-seat B737-800 aircraft with flights from Da Nang taking
off at 01:30 and landing in Seoul at 07:50 and the return flight departing at
21:30 and arriving at 00:35.
This is the seventh carrier connecting Da Nang to the Republic of Korea (RoK),
bringing the total flights between the two destinations to 39 a week.
Mr. Ngo Minh Thien, a representative of Jeju Air in Viet Nam said that the
airline’s launching flights to Viet Nam helps to facilitate foreign visitors to
travel easily to the RoK as well as create more opportunities for Viet Nam to
promote its image to the world. In contrast, Vietnamese businesses also have the
chance to expand economic cooperation and cultures between the two countries.
Jeju Air operates in the busiest Gimpo-Jeju trade network with more than 20
major routes throughout Asia, including Japan, China, the Philippines, Viet Nam,
Thailand, Guam and other domestic routes.
Over the past 11 months, the central coastal city of Da Nang received over
140,700 foreign tourist arrivals, a 25.1% increase over a year earlier, reported
the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
