EU Project Professionals trains on E-marketing in tourism
Specialists of Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism
Capacity Development Program funded by the European Union (EU-ESRT) has
organized a training course on E-marketing in tourism for 20 officials of Viet
Nam National Administration of Tourism and Ha Noi Tourism Department.
The training course lasts one day and provided for the trainees the overall
information on e-marketing, the role of e-marketing in tourism and how to plan
e-marketing strategy for destinations.
Mr. Florian Sengstschmid, a specialist of EU-ESRT Project, trainer of the course
said the officials applied different approaches in e-marketing, but lack of
systematization and professionalism. Mr. Vu Quoc Tri- Director of Program set
the goal of the course to support the development of tourism industry.
Specially, e-marketing is one of the core solutions with low cost and high
effectiveness.
Since 2013, EU-ESRT has supported Viet Nam Tourism to contribute national
strategy on Brand and Marketing, design and spread the icon “Endless Beauty” as
well as has assisted VNAT organizing the Conference on Brand and Marketing, has
implemented the training course on e-marketing for 109 officials of VNAT and
Culture, Sports and Tourism Departments and Tourism Departments.
