Vietnamese leading tourism enterprises honored

On the occasion of 56th anniversary of Viet Nam's tourism sector (July 9, 1960-2016), on 09 July, at the Ha Noi Opera House, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in collaboration with Viet Nam Tourism Association (VITA) held a ceremony to announce the winners of 17th Viet Nam Tourism Award.
In his speech, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien highly valued the efforts and contribution of business community to the development of Viet Nam tourism. Tourism has increasingly been contributing to GDP, job creation and fostering other industries. Viet Nam tourism is striving to become a key economic sector of the country.
At the ceremony, 105 Vietnamese leading tourism enterprises were awarded, including:
Top ten 5-star hotels: InterContinental Da Nang Sun Peninsula, Rex Hotel (HCM City), Metropole Ha Noi, Vinpearl Da Nang Resort & Villas, Grand Hotel (HCM City), Majestic Hotel (HCM City), Fusion Maia Da Nang, JW Marriott Ha Noi, Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort, and Melia Ha Noi.
Top ten 4-star hotels: Sai Gon Phu Quoc Resort & Spa (Kien Giang Province), Continental Sai Gon (HCM City), Novotel Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province), Eden Phu Quoc Resort (Kien Giang Province), Sai Gon Mui Ne Resort (Binh Thuan Province), Bamboo Village Beach Resort & Spa (Binh Thuan Province), Sai Gon Morin Hue (Thua Thien Hue Province), Yasaka Sai Gon Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province), Hoi An Hotel (Quang Nam Province), and Sai Gon Da Lat Hotel (Lam Dong Province).
