Khanh Hoa to carry our comprehensive measures to develop tourism

With the aim to make Khanh Hoa become the leading sea – island tourism center of the country, the provincial People’s Committee has entrusted professional agencies to make “Plan to develop tourist products till 2015 and view to 2030”.
According to Permanent Vice-chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Son Hai, for great progress in tourism, the province need make a specific plan right now. There need more high-grade and high-quality tourist products, especially sea – island tourist products.
The province tourism’s targets in the coming 10 years are exploiting potentials and advantages to develop tourist products, raising quality of sea – island tourism, and becoming the leading sea – island tourism center. Then, the province will attract more tourists as well as investors in tourism. From now to 2020, tourist products creating tourism trademark of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa and linking tourist products with local culture will be attached importance. In addition, the local cuisine will be promoted more by investing more in night markets, entertainment spots, new tourist products, etc.
From 2020 to 2025 and 2030, Khanh Hoa continues to develop sea-island tourism and call for investment in ecological tourist areas as well as community tourism, etc.
According to the provincial Department of Tourism, in the development tendency, the province keeps promoting tourism in international markets. Besides, the province continues to tourists from domestic markets like Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, etc. To reach targets, the province need improve infrastructures for tourism to become a tourist urban area; upgrade sea – island tourist products, mud bath and entertainment activities on sea; build new tours, especially tours of spirit and culture as well as tours to trade villages and many localities in the province; invest in night markets, traditional cuisine and night entertainment areas; call more investment in Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula Tourist Area to become a national tourist area; improve human resource for tourism; step up marketing for tourism, etc.
With a lot of above targets, plans and measures, it is expected to see new development in Khanh Hoa tourism to reach regional and international statures.
