Completing dossiers related to Dak Nong geological park

The Dak Nong provincial People's Committee, in association with a consulting team, is urgently completing dossiers submitted to UNESCO for recognition of the Dak Nong geological park as a global geopark in November.
Covering an area of 2,000 sq.km, the geopark stretches along six districts and towns. The most prominent feature is a volcanic cavern system located along the Krong No river, which was home to ancient tribes about 6,000-7,000 years ago
The park also possesses valuable geomorphological heritages such as beautiful ponds and waterfalls, as well as many other tangible and non-tangible cultural values.
