The delegation paid a working day visit to Mong Cai Town

This morning, January 31, 2007, the delegation of Quang Ninh provincial Service of Science and Technology led by Mr. Tran Van Minh – the Director of Service of Science and Technology have paid a working day visit to Mong Cai Town in the implementation of scientific and technological tasks in the Town area.
Participating at the meeting were Mr. Duong Van Co – Vice – standing Chairman of the Town People’s Committee – Chairman of the Town scientific council, leader of border gate management, Department of Economy, Mong Cai Custom branch, Market control Squad No.4, and leader of other relevant branches. The main content is focused on three main points as follow:
Firstly: Evaluating performance in year 2006 and direction, task in year 2007 of scientific and technological application in Mong Cai Town.
Secondly : Focused on the establishment of ex-import goods verifying section at the border-gate zones in the Town area in order to create favorable conditions for enterprises and cutting down the time in the process of ex-import goods customs clearance.
Thirdly : Concentrated on personnel organization, official arrangement to be in charge of management and implementation the scientific and technological application in the locality in the coming years.
At the meeting, after listening the reports and the suggestions from the Town functional organs. Mr Director of the Service of Science and Technology highly appraised the co-operation between the Mong Cai Town and Service of Science and Technology in the implementation of applying scientific and technological breakthroughs in to agricultural – forestry – fishery production, he also highly appreciated the successes in the application of new technical and information in management, plays an important role in taking the lead in the movement for applying technical and information in the field of state management. During the proposals, suggestions, the leader of Service of Science and Technology concurred with the orientations of applying scientific and technological in year 2007 with projects as follow: watermelon growing “Hac My Nhan”, rabbit breeding to help local people improve their living standard and get rid of poverty…
For the ex-import goods verifying task : in the first quarter will submitted to the Quang Ninh Provincial to make decision for approval of establishing a temporary Station to receive procedures, inspect and grant qualitative certification for enterprises at the Town area. The Director also offered the township to register the application of advanced-management system in to the management operation, under the quality standard of TCVN ISO 9100:2000.
