Exhibition of artifacts from Hung Kings’ period in Phu Tho
An exhibition was held in the
northern province of Phu Tho on March 26 to display documents from Hung Kings'
period as part of the 2009 Hung Kings' Temple Festival.
The exhibition, the largest of its kind so far, showcased more than 1,500
valuable documents including proclamations, books, maps, various artifacts, and
scientific research from the era of the Hung Kings.
The exhibition, which will run until April 5, is part of tourism programme
“Returning to the Roots 2009”, paving the way for a series of activities to
celebrate the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary.
The event was co-organised by the Phu Tho province’s department of Culture,
Sports and Tourism, the Library Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports
and Tourism and the Library Union of the Red River Delta.
