World famous ballet comes to Vietnam

     The Vietnam Opera Ballet Theatre will introduce one of the most famous classic operas in the world, “Spartacus”, on April 10 and 11 at the Hanoi Opera House.
The opera will feature the brilliant image of Spartacus, the leader of slaves revolting against the Roman Empire in the 3rd slave war.
Through wonderful ballet dances, the opera will revive the love of freedom through a historical story.
“Spartacus” was transformed into a ballet by Aram Khachturian in 1954. The opera was immediately applauded as a great work. Amended several times and arranged by different directors, the opera has been performed throughout Russia and many countries in the world.
