Phu Quoc fishermen move to do tourism

     Many fishermen in Phu Quoc have given up their fishing jobs and optioned to work in tourism services, said a representative of the Job Promotion Centre in the area.
The movement occurred as the number of tourists flocking to Phu Quoc Island is increasing.
The fishermen upgraded and converted their trawlers into tourist boats to improve their living.
Among the 100 boats working in the tourism sector, 60 use to be trawlers.
The price for each sea trip, on these kinds of boats, range from VND 600,000 to VND 1,500.000. for two to 15 tourists.
