Spain helps with tourism course
The Ho Chi Minh City Law
University is working with Spain’s Institute of International Legal Studies to
open a five-week legal training course on tourism management in June.
The course aims to improve the capacity of tourism administrators in management
and tourism law.
The training course will be conducted for two weeks in Vietnam and three weeks
in Spain.
Trinh Anh Nguyen, from the HCM City Law University, said tourism managers would
learn about contracts, regulations on compensation and insurance.
In addition, regulations will be taught on environmental protection, laws on
protecting cultural heritage and other subjects.
Marketing, branding, the use of promotional tools and destination strategies
will also be discussed.
Bruno Aguilera Barchet, director of the Spanish institute, said the students
would learn from the mistakes of the tourism sector in Spain, which is the
second most-visited country in the world.
The language of instruction will be Spanish, with Vietnamese studying in Spain
acting as interpreters.
After the five-week training course, the participants will be awarded a
certificate by the chancellor of HCM City Law University and the Institute of
International Legal Studies.
