Lighting candles to commemorate heroic martyrs in Dien Bien city

      Five hundred young people, representing the youth nationwide, along with thousands of soldiers and people in Dien Bien city, lighted 644 candles at martyrs’ cemetery on hill A1 on May 2.
The candle lighting ceremony is part of youth activities to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7).
At 8pm on May 3, a youth camping programme in Dien Bien city’s square will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel.
