400 artworks come out in HCM City
An exhibition of paintings,
statues, calligraphic works, and stone works and music shows in praise of the
nation and Buddhism is being held at the HCM City Labour Culture Palace.
The hall of the HCM City Labour Culture Palace, at 55B Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, has
become a huge space of arts, with more than 400 artworks of various kinds.
These are works by artists and artisans from HCM City and other provinces,
including Thich Tu Quang, Truong Han Minh, Truong Lo, Le Trieu Dien, Nguyen Lam,
Ho Cong Khanh, Phuc An, Tran Quoc An, Dang Tu, Van Khoa, Ho Van Mai and Thien
Tan.
Senior monk Thich Nhuan Tam from the La Pagoda in Go Van district, HCM City,
initiated the exhibition, aiming to seek charity funds for 80 workers who are
suffering from fatal diseases.
The exhibition will open until May 8.
