Vietnam impresses Hi Seoul Festival 2009

      Vietnam’s music, gastronomy, traditional dress and palm-leaf conical hat have impressed visitors to the Hi Seoul Festival 2009 that was wrapped up in the capital city of the Republic of Korea on May 10.
During the nine-day festival, an art troupe from the Hanoi College of Fine Arts gave an outstanding song and dance performance. “This is the second time the troupe performed at the Hi Seoul Festival,” said troupe head Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh.
The Vietnamese embassy in the RoK also joined 32 foreign embassies at the Seoul Friendship Fair 2009 on May 10.
It introduced Vietnam’s handicraft products, food, drinks as well as pictures, photographs and books on its landscapes.
