Truong Son soldiers receive discount tickets to visit Phong Nha-Ke Bang

      From 11 to 31 May, former youth volunteers, soldiers from Corps 559, and wounded soldiers will have a chance to visit the caves of Phong Nha and Tien Son, and the Nuoc Mooc Spring Eco-Tourism spot in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh province with half-priced tickets.
Thus, ticket prices for the Phong Nha cave, the Tien Son cave, and Nuoc Mooc Spring will only costVND 15,000, VND 10,000, and VND 25,000, respectively.
The visitors arerequested to bring with them eligibility certificates and membership cardsfrom Veterans and Youth Volunteer Associations.
Notably, a large tropical bonnie hat, 8m in diameter and 2m in height, will welcome visitors to Phong Nha cave, as of May 19th.
The hat was made by four peopleduring six days with a VND 25 million sponsorship from the Army Telecom Corp. (Viettel).
The hat, proposed by Le Thanh Loi, deputy director of the Phong Nha Eco-cultural tourism center, serves asa reminder of a period when soldiers wore it and fought for national independence.
“This hat will be enteredfor a Vietnamese record”, said Loi.
