Temple of Literature to be restored

      The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will restore and renovate the Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) complex and Quoc Tu Giam (Imperial Academy) at a cost of VND48 billion (US$2.74 millions).
Restoration is focused on vestiges such as halls where stone steles have been placed, Thai Hoc Temple and drum and bell towers. Wooden buildings will be painted with red lacquer trimmed with gold.
