Unique market for used golf balls in Hoa Binh

      This special “market” has been open for over two years outside the Phoenix golf course in Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province.
The used balls sold at this market are balls that had sailed over the Phoenix golf course’s fences and collected by local people and balls collected by Phonenix’s staff.
A used golf ball saleswoman named Trinh Thanh Binh told VietNamNet that this “market” appeared in late 2006, a short time after Phoenix opened.
Binh said used golf balls sell very well and very profitably. She sells around 70-80 balls a day on average. Weekends are the best time for this business.
