management capacity.

At a conference to launch the project held in central Hue city on May 28, the
participants discussed principles for relics management, issues related to the
relics in Hue , and tasks for authorised agencies.
Addressing the conference, Vice Chairman of the Thua Thien-Hue province’s
People’s Committee Ngo Hoa affirmed the authorities attach importance to the
preservation of the local relics. He pointed out the difficulties and challenges
that face the relic management agencies, and expressed his wish that the project
would help address these challenges.
