Vietnam to launch island and sea week in June

      An island and sea week will be launched for the first time by the Vietnamese government from June 1-8 in response to World Ocean Day (June 8).
Practical activities will be carried out during the week, including a photo exhibition on islands and seas, a musical gala night and an environmental clean-up campaign to be launched in Quang Ninh province.
On World Ocean Day, scientists and leaders of coastal provinces will attend a symposium on Vietnamese seas and climate change.
